Gatehouse Capital
The W Hollywood Hotel & Residences is a $350 million development project located in Hollywood, California. The property is situated at the iconic intersection of Hollywood and Vine, and spans a full city block. The development project features hotel, residential, and retail uses, and is a landmark property that has been introduced to a global audience through a strategic advertising and public relations program.
The W Hollywood Hotel & Residences offers 143 W-branded residences for purchase, featuring one, two, and three-bedroom units with spectacular views of the world-famous Hollywood sign. The branded residential component of W Hollywood is an opportunity to own a condominium served by all the luxury amenities of the hotel, but as a separate for-sale product different from the hotel operation.
The hotel features 305 guestrooms and suites in a 12-story structure, along with over 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom and breakout meeting rooms with full walls of windows to allow natural lighting into the spaces. The property also offers ample outdoor seating areas, an outdoor pool, and bar overlooking the city, providing guests with the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The hotel contracted with Drai's Nightclub (earlier version of the current Drai's Las Vegas) to design and operate the rooftop nightclub and pool deck with over 20,000 SF of event area.
The W Hollywood Hotel & Residences was designed to be the most sustainable project for its size, and features a thoroughly modern and highly energized website tied to a print advertising campaign and a comprehensive suite of e-communication and social marketing tools, all successful in driving attention to the property.
