Island of Antigua
Project Cost $1,500,000,000
Total Concept Management (Predevelopment)
This project was a grandiose undertaking that spanned the eastern part of the breathtaking Caribbean Island of Antigua. The project consisted of 32 magnificent private residential homes, each with 6 or 7 luxurious bedrooms, individual swimming pools, and tennis courts, along with private staff quarters. These luxurious homes are located on the sprawling 500-acre Guiana Island, which is just a stones’-throw from the mainland. The island located directly south of Guiana was designed for 5 exquisite restaurants and one opulent bar located at the outer point of the island.
Included in the project was a brand-new FBO at the end of the old runway 10 of the V.C. Bird International airport. The FBO was designed with a glass covered canopy to house two jets the size of 737 to unload at one time. From there, the guests would take a short ride across the street to be welcomed at the departure complex via 50’ yachts to the island residence. Furthermore, the esteemed private member would also have exclusive rights to the 32-slip marina capable of mooring yachts up to 340’. Once on the island, members would have full access to the Jack Nicholas designed golf course, Spa, Antigua Fitness Club and horse stables for their enjoyment.
Also included in the project design was the state-of-the-art power and desalination plants to serve the project and a 100 guestroom hotel at the airport for flight crews and other staff members of the members.
